Specialist Background

Datuk Paduka Dr Abdul Rauf Haji Ahmad is our Consultant Orthopaedic at KPMC Kajang. He obtained his Bachelor of Medical Doctor (MD) from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Later he received his Master of Surgery (Orthopaedic) from the same institution in 1996.

Before joining KPMC as Resident Consultant, he served in a few hospitals, such as Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Hospital Kajang. His last position in the government was as Head of Unit of Orthopaedic at Hospital Tunku Jaafar Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. His particular interest is in spine trauma, low back surgery, cervical trauma and advanced trauma, especially pelvis injury and pelvic fracture.
