Dr Mohd Hafiz Bin Mohd Ali was a Consultant Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Surgeon at Subang Jaya Medical Centre (SJMC), a leading private tertiary healthcare centre in Malaysia, where he had practised since 1995. His responsibilities included outpatient consultations, inpatient care, emergency ENT services, diagnostic procedures and ENT surgery.

His clinical experience covered general adult and paediatric ENT, rhinology, sinus disease, allergy-related ENT disorders, otology, and head and neck surgery. He also performed surgical procedures involving the thyroid and salivary glands, sinonasal conditions, ear-related procedures, and airway management.

Dr Mohd Hafiz completed higher specialist ENT training and clinical practice in England, advanced ENT training in Scotland, and postgraduate surgical and ENT training in Ireland. He also undertook specialist hospital attachments in head and neck oncology and otology at hospitals in England and Scotland.

In addition to his clinical practice, he contributed to hospital leadership, clinical governance, quality improvement and medical education. He previously served as Head of the ENT Department at SJMC and held leadership positions in the hospital’s Operating Theatre and Pharmacy Committees. Earlier in his career, he served as a Lecturer and Clinical Academic in Otorhinolaryngology at Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia (HUSM).
