Specialist Background

Dr Yahya Mohd Aripin is a Consultant Surgeon at KPMC Kajang. He received his medical degree from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India and Master degree in General Surgery from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Subsequently he did his fellowship in Breast and Endocrine Surgery in Halle-Wittenberg University, Germany.

He has over 2 decades experience in general surgery as well as breast and endocrine surgery. He is well trained in minimally invasive surgical techniques including both laparoscopic and robotic surgery. Dr Yahya has experiences working in both government and private hospitals.

He once held administrative post as head of department of surgery in university hospital and medical director in private medical centre. Apart from being a practising surgeon, Dr Yahya also teaches surgery to medical students, young doctors and surgeons.
