Resolve Customer Problems
Sometimes patients have problems with their needs during the stay in the hospital. PR staff usually are their first point of contact. They listen to the patient grievance to determine the problem and do everything in their power toresolve the problem before bringing it to the management.

Operation Theatre

There are 2 Operating Theatre in KPMC Kajang situated at Level 2. They are sterile environments; all personnel wear protective clothing called scrubs. They also wear shoe covers, masks, caps, eye shields, and other coverings to prevent the spread of germs. The operating room is brightly lit and the temperature is very cool; operating rooms are air-conditioned to help prevent infection. The patient is brought to the operating room on a wheelchair or bed with wheels (called a gurney). The patient is transferred from the gurney to the operating table, which is narrow and has safety straps to keep him or her positioned correctly. The monitoring equipment and anesthesia used during surgery are usually kept at the head of the bed. The anesthesiologist sits here to monitor the patient’s condition during surgery.

Depending on the nature of the surgery, various forms of anesthesia or sedation are administered. The surgical site is cleansed and surrounded by a sterile drape. The instruments used during a surgical procedure are different for external and internal treatment; the same tools are not used on the outside and inside of the body

Delivery Room

The labor room in KPMC Kajang is located at Level 2. This is one of the most versatile rooms in our hospital. It is called a labor, delivery, and recovery room (LDR). This is the room that you will use for your labor and birth, including the initial hours of recovery.

The LDR is designed for nearly all births. It can handle a birth for women choosing to go unmedicated or those who wish to have an epidural. The vast majority of these rooms can also handle minor emergencies and procedures including forceps and vacuum deliveries. You would only need to leave this room if you needed to go to the operating room for a cesarean or the high potential of a cesarean (such as in the cases of twin births or a vaginal breech birth attempt).

Nursery

A nursery in KPMC Kajang contain a crib (or similar type of bed), a table or platform for the purpose of changing diapers (also known as a changing table), as well as various items required for the care of the child (such as baby powder and medicine). A nursery in KPMC Kajang is generally designated for your baby comfort and safety.’

Ambulance Services

In KPMC Kajang, we have 2 ambulance which is medically equipped with emergency treatment facilities. In some instances, out-of-hospital medical care is provided to the patient. Our ambulances are used to respond to medical emergencies. The ambulance equipped with flashing warning lights and sirens. They can rapidly transport paramedics and other first responders to the scene, carry equipment for administering emergency care and transport patients to hospital or other definitive care.
